The Central Bank of Bahrain licences fintech faster and more cheaply than its neighbours, setup and living costs are the lowest in the GCC, and the causeway puts the Saudi Eastern Province within driving distance. Many founders use Manama as a low-cost licensed base while selling into Saudi Arabia.
